Thoracic disc herniation resection via transpedicular corpectomy approach
Resection of calcified thoracic disc herniation causing hemiplegia via posterior transpedicular corpectomy approach
This middle aged woman presented with one month history of progressive hemiparesis due to large calcified thoracic disc herniation at T7 T8. She underwent posterior approach with resection and fusion with intraop MEP and SSEP monitoring. Postop she had immediate and complete recovery of her preop neuro deficit and was discharged in 4 days.
